Year in

Amy Ward,
Subject Leader

We are a multi award-winning branding and communication design course. Our students solve complex problems with clever thinking and ideas, and great attention to craft and execution. This year’s cohort are no different; they are a passionate, committed, and talented group of designers who have produced some astonishing work.

Diverse range
of work

No subject is beyond their grasp, and this year they have worked on projects that include: the longest town name in the world, why Wolverhampton has a problem with exercise, why older people should wear Adidas, no kite-flying zones in London, end-of-the-world preppers, and the connection between mental health and toilet roll.

Roles already
secured by students

Many students have already secured placements and internships with major London studios, and others from this talented group will start their careers in many of the UK’s leading branding and design agencies.

Award winning

Olivia Knights, Ellie Woodcock Jones and Reece Tennyson-Parsons have won First Prize in the Firestarters design competition set by leading London agency Dragon Rouge, and sent out to many leading graphics courses.

We’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with several design agencies this year including Weirdo and Conran Design, providing them with first hand exposure to some great professional advice and talent. Students have also enjoyed talks from ex-graduates now working at Nomad Studio, Pentagram, Dragon Rouge, North and Superunion.
