BA (Hons) Illustration
As an artist, I have always identified myself as someone who likes to continually discover new methods of production. Primarily, I would consider myself a painter/printmaker, but I also have an affinity with digital art and typography. This means I am knowledgeable of the Adobe Suite as I have continued to use it throughout my practice since my GCSE’s. My time at NUA has taught me how to critically reflect upon my own work through peer reviews and conversations with my tutor.
My passion for my work drives me to produce my best, so any criticism is always considered and analysed. Alongside my university degree I regularly blogged about my processes and concepts, including my audience in my experience and therefore creating a mutual platform for communication. From personal commissions, I have learnt that communication and understanding is key in producing an outcome all parties are happy with.
