Alice Hampton

BA (Hons) Fashion

BA Fashion outfits by Alice Hampton showing Outfits 4 and 5 of her collection photographed in a dance studio with a ballet bar prop and wall mirrors.

I am a fashion designer who specialises in zero-waste tulle garments. I am a hands-on individual who thrives creativity when designing and making garments. My final collection is inspired by my childhood hobby, ballet and how I think anyone should be able to wear what they like no matter how “imperfect” they believe themselves to be. I have tried to be as sustainable as possible within my collection by using second-hand pointe shoes to embellish the garments and creating zero waste patterns for all my tulle garments.

I intend to work in an environment where I can make garments, create textures with fabrics and be as creative as possible. My fashion degree has encouraged me to challenge and develop every design idea as far as I can take it which has pushed me to use fabrics and colours outside of my comfort zone.
