An illustrator and designer, graduating from Norwich University of the Arts with a specialised typographic practice. A practice exploring sustainability and environmentalism, focused through collaborations alongside conservation societies like the The Norfolk Broads Authority.
Typography became a central visual medium able articulate, discuss and illustrate our planets dire state. My final major project produced a highly detailed modular display typeface ‘AID NATURE’. As the natural world, my typefaces formed through composite parts coming together to create one larger system. Sustainability and conservation defining my practices intent and ethical standpoints.
Aspiring to progress illustrative modes and ideals that surround typography within illustrations contemporary industries. Ideals expanded through work within my collective BUZOKU, innovating as part of a creative team. My time at NUA shaped an illustrative practice focused upon sustainable ethics and visual innovation.
