Contemporary society is immersed in social media. Public exposure to high end fashion, events and interiors through personalised marketing of aspirational lifestyle cultures are increasingly prominent in the promotion of boutique hospitality. Careful crafting of the experience of hotels is essential as visitors vary but expect a tailored service and unique encounter with an intimate and personal interior.
The intentions for this project are based on creating luxury experiences for today’s professional demographic exposed to fashion, luxury and hospitality sector. This intended target markets of; business users, millennials and creatives who highly value experience and connection when travelling. These ideals are evident in the design and story of the space.
Tulketh mill previously functioned for the production of cotton and textiles therefore, designing a boutique hotel immersed in the future of fashion and yet preserving the history of the building, provides a solution to creating a unique and memorable experience.
