BA (Hons) Illustration
I am a creative that specialises in process-led design, exploring collage, printmaking and painting. I like to create hand-made, natural textures that I can use as transferable assets to be applied to different formats and work with digitally. My practice is playful and has child-like influences as I find inspiration from childhood memories and creating in ways that I enjoyed growing up.
From the development of my practice, I have learnt that I have an interest in working with younger audiences through workshops to allow them to explore their creativity and different processes. I am intrigued in design for children, and how art is used to educate as well as influence their wellbeing. This is something I explored in my final unit, and an area I am excited to venture into as creative, utilising the skills I have learnt through my time at NUA such as research driven projects and the importance in communicating with your target audience to have the best outcome.
