Providing a sense of comfort and safety for those who find public places overwhelming and encourage interaction amongst a diverse range of people is an important requirement of our urban spaces. ‘The Liberty Pavilions’ based in the heart of Manchester, accommodates multiple uses for multiple user’s needs. With visually interesting architecture and interiors, the Pavilions will help the public reconnect with the city, environment and create a welcoming community. With access to a green space to help stimulate people’s wellbeing and mental health.
Located on Albert Square directly in front of the Town Hall this space is designed to bring people together, with its large passing footfall the area will be full of life and atmosphere to support the importance of public wellbeing expressed through the use of colours, smells, lighting and sounds of music from ‘The Harmony’.
