Beth Unsworth is a fashion and portrait photographer. Fashion, womanhood and female empowerment are the integral elements of Beth’s practice and her latest project : ‘Girl Gaze’ encapsulates that. She focuses on creating conceptual fashion imagery that reflects diversity and aims to empower both the viewer and the models she collaborates with.

She understands the importance of making art for women, by women, which is why it was imperative to work with a diverse range of women. She worked with women who had battled cancer, worked in the sex industry and lived with acne all their life. Although their stories are different, they share the pain of under representation in the fashion industry.

Beth plans to continue this project after university, developing her technical skills as well as collaborating with models and designers on a global scale.
