Cameron Eddie

BA (Hons) VFX

BA VFX work by Cameron Eddie showing a photorealistic digital model of an old-fashioned Rotary Phone.

I am a recent VFX graduate specialising in hard-surface modelling and photorealistic texturing. I am confident working in Maya, Substance Painter, and Photoshop. I chose to focus on photorealistic texturing as I saw it as one of the weaker aspects of my skillset and was keen to improve.

My final piece allowed me to develop a foundational knowledge of photorealistic texturing and I believe what I have created showcases my borderline obsessive attention to detail, as well as an ability to faithfully recreate a reference.

I am eager to develop my skills further and would like to work in a small-to-medium sized studio as part of a tight-knit team. I believe this will allow me to have more ownership over the assets I create, while also allowing me to work closely with others whom I can ask for feedback and guidance on how to push my work further.
