Carley Pinnock

BA (Hons) Textile Design

BA Textile Design work by Carley Pinnock showing a bold geode inspired repeat pattern for interiors

I am an eager newly graduated Textile Design student with a passion for print design. I specialise in digital print, however I am not limited to this. I am confident in photography, photoshop and enjoy trying anything new.

My work is inspired by the works of Nature. This is a main feature in my design process; going from photographing plants and natural formations to then curating motifs.

After 7 years of studying Textile Design from 14-21 years old I feel I am very knowledgeable on this subject, however I am excited to expand my knowledge in future endeavours. I would like to share my enthusiasm with future colleagues whilst also being inspired by working with other creative minds.

I have experience working in a secondary school setting where I was able to apply my relevant textiles skills to advise students on their own design processes. This was an inspiring setting to work in as I able to step into their design process which opened my mind to new ideas.
