In my final year at NUA I have discovered how to unapologetically do what I want. You canât stop a runaway train! But who needs rails anyway?
My graduate collection highlights my interest in the human experience – what does it mean to exist and to be a person? Now in the 21st century and forever. Fashion is such an exciting medium to explore this, as we interact with fashion on such a visceral level every day. In this way the collection is a display of the battle that occurs between deviancy and correction. Specifically in a medical context.
The human body is so fragile and fluid; defecting and suffering in so many ways. Often the methods used to correct the wrongs of the human body are harsher than the ailments themselves. My Graduate collection is titled âFashion Wardâ.
