Charlie Fields

BA (Hons) Games Art and Design

Final image render of "bubblepop" showing a stylized vending machine.

I’m an enthusiastic 3D environmental artist and designer, who enjoys capturing environments in cinematic essence. I am quick to learn and have a positive attitude and approach to new problems and unfamiliar areas, showing persistence and a strong work ethic towards improving in my specialism. I have 3 years of educational, industry-standard experience in the 3D modelling production pipeline, as well as a proficient understanding of software packages such as Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Substance Designer and Unreal Engine 4. With a personally developed ‘stylised’ style, I provide creativity for playful storytelling in games.

I have previously worked in both individual and group work environments, providing me with greater development in soft skills such as collaboration and organisation, as well as listening and learning from constructive peer feedback. I’m currently looking for new opportunities at a long-term studio to develop these skills further and improve my specialism.

This piece is a final render of a stylized diorama to the Grand Space Opera Competition entry.
