Chloe Read
BA (Hons) Interior Design
Throughout my time as an Interior Design undergraduate, I have developed a deeper understanding of various psychological and mathematical design principles that are universally applicable. I have a keen interest on subjects such as Sacred Geometry, Fibonacci numbers and fractal patterns which are explored within my Signature Project. Over time, these have become design ‘tools’ that I can use within future practise; I find them to be effective stimuli that allow me to achieve an intended response from the audience.
My degree has equipped me with a broad, transferable skillset, enhancing my design development and implementation stages. I am organised, resilient and have an excellent working relationship with colleagues. I am proficient in programs such as the Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office and specialist CAD software including ArchiCAD, Enscape and SketchUp. Despite a general focus on wellness and hospitality in this project, I plan to explore a variation of design sectors in the future.
