Conor Cliffe

BA (Hons) Games Art and Design

BA Games Art and Design work by Conor Cliffe showing a stylised costal scene with a shipwrecked camp on the beach, with a suspiciously glowing chest in it.
NUA Award Winner

I have always nurtured a passion for making and tinkering, learning the structure of things and how they work is a personal fascination that drove me to pursue the study of Games Art & Design, specialising in 3D digital art, extending into woodworking and scale model building.

I enjoy producing both realistic and stylised artwork, which allows me to be more versatile as an artist whilst also having a diverse range of challenges. Problem-solving provides important opportunities to produce solutions, expand existing knowledge, and develop my creative skillset, which I thrive in and keeps me motivated.

My time at university has allowed me the opportunity to work alongside like-minded people. As a member of a small team, I have contributed to projects which have won first place in two national game jams, solidifying my ability to work cohesively with peers to produce high quality work that succeeds at meeting a brief in a set time period.

Winner of the Ukie Student Game Jam 2021
