As a designer, I thrive off providing people with unique experiences. Fascinated by history I use my designs to educate consumers, creating relationships between current and historical environments. I aim to engage the audience by creating interactive spaces, highlighting my interests as an experience-based designer. Connecting the audience with the environment, allowing them to become an element of the design. I design spaces to encourage emotions and senses to be manipulated by providing unique immersive experiences. Fuelled by my appreciation for history I put the emphasis on repurposing by renovating listed buildings and using sustainable methods and materials. This is explored through my project, an immersive attraction set between the 19th – 20th century exposing the inequalities of society. Submerged directly onto the poverty line, this uncomfortable setting operates as an educational resource. Built within a repurposed grade II listed hydraulic power station in London.

Daisy was awarded an Honorary Mention in the IDA Student Awards 2021.
