Dan Randall
Deans’ Award for Studentship
Daniel Randall is a contemporary curator and visual artist. In his creative practice, Randall has a passion for exploring immersive art forms and audience viewership, working in and around the schools of sculpture and new media to produce installations and environments that entrance an audience whilst they âexistâ within the spaces he creates. His immersive projects have been exhibited in several public shows, including Interact (2019) at SCVA and Site 1: The Internet (2019) at Studio 20.
Randall has found that his creative interests feed directly into his curatorial practice, where he strives to push the limits of what the role of a curator can be. Debuting his first two institutional shows during his studies at NUA, The Big F (2019) and Anything You Can I Can Butcher (2020), he shows a keen eye for producing innovative shows in the public domain during these early stages in his curatorial practice.
