“I’ve always wanted to do research in the form of spectacle”
A quote by Jean-Luc Godard that strongly reflects the creative and conceptual approach I’ve used in my own practice and at NUA.
As a filmmaker my biggest motivation is collaborating with creatives that share the same interest in exploring the art of visual storytelling as a tool to communicate ideas and emotions.
Influenced by my drive to tell stories visually, I have specialised in Directing during my time at NUA and Cinematography through my work experience on a variety of short film projects ranging from narrative to music videos in London.
Fascinated by Neorealism and Philosophy, my time at NUA has enabled me to ground my creative practice in the context of research often aiming to address a strong sense of social commentary; calling into question and promoting dialogues around assumptions of morality, truth and human nature.
