BA (Hons) Fashion
I would describe my design aesthetic as controversial and eccentric. My graduate collection has been focused on genderless, inclusive pieces that are empowering to the wearer and challenge the norms of fit, fabrication and techniques. My main source of inspiration comes from studio fifty four and looking into the 70’s and 80’s club scene. The cut of my garments have been carefully considered to express and celebrate the people in them, in the most flattering and delicate way.
I want my work to be bold and expressive so the wearer feels celebrated for all they have to offer. My fabrication strengths lay within leather and vinyl materials and I feel I have learnt to work with it precisely and to a professional standard.
