Ella Field
BA (Hons) Illustration
I am a multidisciplinary freelance illustrator who enjoys exploring themes of nostalgia, childhood memories, lifestyle, and humour. I often work with a range of colours, materials, and processes, these include working both traditionally and digitally, using various printmaking methods, and sculpting 3D creations and scenes.
I applied my wonky drawing style and extensive knowledge of colour to various playful projects throughout university which helped me embrace my versatility and flexibility as an illustrator.
I have created several posters, stickers and sticker sheets, printed ephemera (including colouring sheets and information cards). I have created a 24-page zine, and a large 3D set/display; all of which centres around spreading positivity and joy through absurdity and silliness.
I plan on further developing my skills within product development and branding outside of university and will work on adapting my fun style to children’s editorials.
