Emilia Castillo Frederiksen

BA (Hons) Animation

An illustration depicting snowy Mountains at sunrise by Emilia Frederiksen.

In my 3-year university course I have gained great leadership skills and organisational habits from being a producer in two projects and a director of my final film, while understanding how to use feedback from my colleagues to improve my craft.

As my work may convey, I am an Animation graduate specialising in backgrounds. Having worked on multiple projects throughout my three years, I know how to work in a team as an employee and director. I love creating the stage for the animation to take place, especially creating the mood for the shot.

I would love to work for a studio that would allow me to expand my 3D knowledge while still working on 2D backgrounds. Having experience in multiple programs such as Clip Studio Paint, ToonBoom, TVPaint, Adobe Animate, Maya and Surface Painter. I believe I would be a great asset to any team.
