Emily Sapphire Day
BA (Hons) Interior Design
I am a highly dedicated aspiring Interior Designer, my degree has helped me to push my creativity and curiosity as well as being motivated and organised. Exploring my individual style, with an interest in organic features, my main areas of focus lie within sustainable practices and user-centred design. I hope to find myself creating and designing spaces for retail and visual merchandising, that aid current environmental issues and solving problems within a team.
For my final major project, I designed a flagship store of an existing skincare brand. The project addresses the adaptation of future high-street retail, exploring innovative ways of in-store shopping that target the modern consumer. This project enabled me to develop my skills using architectural software and work creatively on what I love to do. My degree at Norwich University of the Arts has given me the confidence to work innovatively in this field and guided me to expand my portfolio.
