Finlay Cleland

BA (Hons) Games Art and Design

BA Games Art work by Finlay Cleland depicting the half corpse half alive Norse Goddess, Hel.

As a 3D character artist, I am enthusiastic and always driven to push myself, I am extremely willing to work with and learn from others. I am passionate about video games as well as the wider industry, and enjoy keeping up to date with the latest developments in technologies and workflows.

With a focus on physically based rendering, and a keen knowledge of the high to low poly baking workflow, I aspire to work closely with others to produce the highest quality of work. During my time at university, I have developed a solid understanding of a range of software such as Zbrush, Maya, Marvellous Designer, Substance 3D Painter, and more.

The Witch King. A figure in tattered black robes. He wears old iron armour on his arms and crown like helmet. He holds a large flail in his right hand.
The Flail has been set on the ground in a foggy forest at night. It is illuminated by the embers of a nearby fire and moonlight.
