BA (Hons) Games Art and Design
I am a Games Art and Design graduate with a specialism in concept art. My work revolves around environmental concept art in the form of matte paintings, however, I have skills in producing characters too. With interests in titles such as The Last of Us, I strive to create highly rendered scenes similar to Naughty Dog’s house style whilst paying close attention to fundamentals such as colour theory, composition and lighting. As a result of practices made throughout my time at NUA, I have acquired a range of skills such as attention to detail, interpreting and delivering a brief, responding to feedback and developing strong communication skills.
Through participation in multiple game jams, I have great experience working well with others within a team. As I have focused building upon my skillset, I have developed experience through use of software such as the Adobe Creative Cloud and 3D within Blender and Maya as I block out scenes to assist my 2D work.
