George Cobbold

BA (Hons) Graphic Communication

A green double billboard spread with the copy 'MMMotherstutter' written across them in black.

I’m George, a student with a passion for all things design. I love working with engaging and creative ideas across campaign, identity and type design. Although I primarily work with simple and effective digital concepts, I am always looking to expand my horizons and create imaginative work anywhere I can, whether that be in motion, physically or across new software.

Variety of campaign posters, using the stuttered text to highlight some of difficulties and experiences that those with communication disorders often face in day-to-day life.

I am a resilient and determined student who can’t wait to embrace the opportunity to get into the industry and put my excitement for design and attention to detail to good use!

The project in view is called ‘Did I SSStutter’, a campaign designed to stop stuttering stigma; to empower those with a stutter/communication disorder and educate those who don’t.

"Am I mmmaking a good fffirst impression" - campaign poster that uses a stutter in physical form. Poster is green with black text on the side of a building.
A motion piece recording the edited typeface in use. The typeface writes out a couples of lines outlining it's purpose of visually communicating blocks and prolongations.
