Georgia Manning

BA (Hons) Textile Design

Suspended woven monofilament length.

Georgia is a textiles designer specialising in print and weave. Her current project, Mythos focuses on ancient Greek mythology, exploring art, architecture, and literature to curate an interiors collection which brings the ancient world into our modern homes.

Georgia has been exploring weave techniques like taquete alongside natural colour for her dyed yarns to capture the feel of ancient frescoes. Georgia has used her passion and interest for history to create pieces that honour the Greek pantheon of Gods in a modern context.
