As a recent graduate of BA Film and Moving Image Production, I aim to push myself out of my comfort zones and make use of the confidence I have gained during the course, to follow a creative career path. I have set myself a future goal to be working on an anthology series as a director/collaborator, leading a project which brings together talented people to create original work that is accessible whilst pushing boundaries. The ambition has been created by watching short films and seeing big stars or unknown talent putting on intimate performances that removes the element of a pedestal and focuses on character. This has been something I have enjoyed exploring through scripts and creating character dynamics but also by observing and working alongside talented filmmakers on the course, who will be bringing new ideas into the industry.
