Harry Sofokleous
BA (Hons) Games Art and Design
As a games designer, I strive to create unique experiences within my games. I try to find more unorthodox and unconventional ways that players can interact with them, driving me to create weirder, more unique pieces.
Growing up through the Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 era, where games were proudly unique and offered new forms of interactions, I was influenced by arcade-style titles. Games like the Typing of the Dead, Jet Set Radio and Guitar hero set the foundations for the experiences I wanted to create.
Throughout university, I’ve worked both independently and leading teams to realise those concepts, both artistically and technically — recreating the feeling of arcade experiences or unique interfaces within my games.
