Honor Alys Fraser

BA (Hons) Fine Art

BA Fine Art sculpture by Honor Alys Fraser. Front side of a canvas and steel sculpture, a blue and yellow animation is projected onto the canvas. Black ink is drawn across the animation in a loop.

Graduating with a degree in BA Fine Art from Norwich University of the Arts, I specialise in digital media and sculpture. My practice centres around merging digital elements with traditional practices, inspired by a love of video games and internet culture.

This interest in digital media has driven me to develop extra skills in 2D animation, 3D modelling and projection, to combine with my traditional background in abstract oil painting and sculpture. I use themes of escapism, play, and immersion in my work to captivate the imagination of the audience; producing work with a focus on curation and immersive installations, to create spaces that transport viewers to other realities.
