Isabelle Golder
BA (Hons) Textile Design
I am a surface pattern designer, inspired by the intricacy of the natural world. Collaborative projects which have built my communication and problem-solving skills are with the companies: Next and Lucy & Yak. Independent learning undertaken in my research report has allowed me to enhance knowledge of consumer behaviour, contemporary challenges within the industry and how to implement sustainability into my practice.
Print and pattern is my key focus, I enjoy using traditional hand drawing and painting to create detailed wallpaper and fabric designs for luxury interiors. My career goal is to assume a role which allows me to take responsibility for the analysis of contemporary trends and creation of my own printed designs for a respected company.
