BA (Hons) Games Art and Design
Jake Campbell
I have always had an interest and passion for developing games and hope to be involved in the industry any way I can. Across my four years studying Games Art and Design I’ve grown to admire game development, learning so much in the process. Engaging in multiple group projects and game jams has taught me how to effectively work with a team of people, building many skills that are necessary when working in a studio.
Across multiple ‘crit’ sessions I have learned how to give constructive feedback, and how to build from it. I specialise in Unreal Engine, building emotive game worlds that players want to jump into, working with blueprinting, UI, lighting, assets and effects. Across my studies I produced several polished prototypes, illustrating my experience and progress during my time at Norwich University of the Arts.
