I’ve gained and continue to gain experience working with both 2D and 3D motion, having had opportunities to incorporate both into university and personal projects. My experience within 2D ranges from type based to illustrative motion pieces and whilst working within 3D, I’ve further developed my animation skills whilst working modelling, lighting, texturing and rigging. When designing for motion I still rely on fundamental design knowledge gained through studying Graphic Communication, being conscious of how I’m using design elements to communicate with an audience.

I feel the line between designer and animator is becoming blurred, with the increased prominence of digital platforms making motion graphics a key part of communicating and this is a prospect I find exciting.
