BA (Hons) Graphic Communication
Jessa Pelayo
Graphic design is all about visual communication, appreciating its existence taught me more about self-awareness and unconscious mind. It inspires me to critically think about our surroundings and fully comprehend the meaning beyond its visuality. Aesthetically speaking, art helped me to express and engaged my inner thoughts that I am unable to put them into words, which heightens creativity.
Since I was young it became part of my hobby, hobby that has been passed down generationally from my artistic uncles, relatives and unto my siblings. I studied BTEC in art and design for two years and eventually changed towards pursuing graphic design for approximately five years. As part of my personal growth as a graphic artist, I discovered my very own design styles such as simplistic design layout, modernised perspective, adores using symbolised elements with meaning and a multifaceted individual who seeks to inspire and be inspired.
