BA (Hons) Architecture
Jordan Crux
My final design took inspiration from Japanese and Scandinavian architecture, which I have particular interest in, with references to these in the design of the spa.
The aim of this project was to connect east, to west Hull. I used the historic, industrial river Hull as the mediator between the two. Allowing the two sides to better converse through the opening of sightlines and pathways. I often try to imbed my designs within the fabric of its context so that it works in harmony with its surroundings and daily use. My painterly renders try to capture the life of a place and design, putting emphasis on light and mood.
