Joshua Brinton

BSc (Hons) Games Development

BSc Games Development work by Joshua Brinton, showing a snowy mountain.

I am a BSc Games Development graduate with a particular interest in User Interface Design. During my time at University, I began to explore more aspects of Games Development & Design to find what parts really called to me. After plenty of trial and error, I found that I particularly enjoy designing User Interfaces, ones that put clarity and usability at the centre of them. I have developed many skills during this time, which include game scripting with Unreal Engine Blueprints and Vector Design with Affinity Designer.

From my Third year Unit 2 projects, this is one of the levels featured in my first project.

After University, I plan to move more towards taking a Web Developer role, specifically a Front-End developer. This is so I can still use my skills with coding to design Reactive websites, but this will also allow me to continue developing my skills in User Interface design.
