BA (Hons) Architecture
During my time of studying Architecture at NUA, I have used my interest in ethical design and community dynamics to research psychological and sociological theories that concern the built environment. With every project, it was my goal to use this knowledge to understand the local communities that will be affected by my design and ideally improve it. To me, it is important to support others, within a working environment or ultimately through my design work. This as well as recent group work has helped me to develop a good ability to listen, attention to detail and sensitivity when it comes to interpreting a brief.
Coming to the UK from Germany in 2018 and having studied architecture at Universitaet Kassel for one year as well as finishing my degree during lockdown has allowed me to develop resilience and adapt and respond to changes and new situations. I believe that these skills will be valuable in a working environment and will help me to work in teams and with unfamiliar software.
