Kaitlyn Lay

BA (Hons) Fashion Communication and Promotion

BA Fashion Communications and promotion work by Kaitlyn Lay, presenting a rotating gif of a collaborative shoe concept by National Geographic and Nike.

I am a creative individual focusing on publications, content creation, promotion and branding. My graduate projects focus on rebranding two campaigns in different aspects for House of Sunny and Nike. One of which is an ethical campaign where I proposed a collaboration between Nike and National Geographic, to relaunch Nike’s dunk low with the use of ethical materials. I also proposed a store-opening for House of Sunny, and launched a homeware line for the company.

I am inspired by diversity, sustainability and fashion trends. I hope to pursue an industry role within social media marketing, continuing to present diverse work in a transparent and ethical way. During my three years at NUA, I have taken part in a collaborative project, working alongside Film students where I gained skills in team-working and leadership. I have also learnt the employability skills of flexibility, adaptability and organisation, as well as boosting my confidence when communicating with colleagues and clients.
