BA (Hons) Photography
As a fine art photographer, the main aim throughout my work is to evoke a reaction from my audience and create a feeling or experience for those who view my work. I am fascinated and often influenced by the study of psychology, and I find it usually informs the ideas behind most of my work.
Much of my work draws on memories and personal experiences, offering an insight into my life and thoughts. I aim to create work that others can empathise with and potentially relate to, as well as images that encourage the viewer to take a more mindful observation of the work, rather than the passive glance that we are all somewhat guilty of in a world so full of visual imagery.
