BA (Hons) Graphic Design
As a Graphic Designer I like to produce work that has cultural significance. I like finding creative solutions to communicate the origins of a product or brand as a way to grab the audience’s attention whilst informing them of what they didn’t know. My goal is to always deliver effective, focused and on-target work that’s colourful and filled with personality that stands out.
Throughout my university career I have been involved in clubs such as Storehouse Magazine where I worked as a writer and wrote articles both in print and online. I am also part of the NUA Afro Caribbean Focus Group which aims to bring together persons of African and Caribbean background to discuss, empower and support each other. Being a part of this group has influenced my writing and design work by further connecting me to others with shared experiences.
My degree at NUA has given me opportunities to expand my creative practice, and although I am a practising Graphic Artist, I have developed a love for pattern design which I often use in my freelance work.
