BA (Hons) Fashion
I am a recent graduate in BA Fashion Design. My highly artistic background as a previous fine art student allows me to design experimental and unique garments that heavily feature creative expression. I reject the idea that fashion has to be ‘pretty’ and instead I aim for my work to be described as ‘powerful’, ‘delinquent’ or ‘polarizing’. My interpretation of fashion as an artform that can be used as a tool for communication and disruption instead of purely as a decorative substance is what makes my work distinctive. I have used my final collection to further myself as an environmental and social activist, as well as expanding the development of my creative identity. I have a high level of skill in design and illustration and was a finalist in this year’s Fashion and Illustration Drawing Awards.
