Louise Batchelor

BA (Hons) Interior Design

Watercolour painting of whole space showing the height and arrangement of furniture. Watercolour painting showing perspective from the bar area. Watercolour painting of showing the green wall and bespoke benches. Watercolour painting showing comfort seating and entrance to booth. Colourful, rendered sectional view. Image of physical model.

My degree has opened my eyes to different ways of communicating design. Though I have been working with software including ArchiCAD and SketchUp, I like to explore other methods of rendering. For my signature project, I used watercolours, but I have experience with pro-markers also. Working within a small group throughout my degree has greatly benefitted my social and collaboration skills and group projects are where I thrive. I enjoy incorporating Photoshop into the majority of my design work and this is something I feel confident in using. I am great at responding to feedback, working in a team, and demonstrating a positive attitude. I have had lots of experience in previous jobs in handling customers and I enjoy this part of a work environment. My favourite type of design is organic or biophilia, and this should show through my signature project.
