Lucy Saskia Di Benedetto

BA (Hons) Games Art and Design

BA Games Art and design horror project main menu of a screaming mouth, created by Lucy Saskia.

I am a narrative writer and designer. My confidence in myself and in my work has grown massively throughout my time at university. During my final year, I focused on creating cutscenes, creating compelling dialogue, creating effective sound design, and creating clear storyboards. I also succeeded in improving my time management skills. I had opportunities to work on my presentation and presenting skills, which I value as being an important part of what I do and has in turn helped me with my conversational skills.

I had the opportunity to be a student representative in my first and second year, which was a fantastic way for me to learn how to communicate with my peers and lecturers and to also work on my listening skills. Reading and writing inspire me and continue to expand my knowledge, which I use to fuel my game ideas. Writing provides a safe space for me to share my thoughts. I now have a portfolio ready to start applying for my chosen area in the industry of which I am proud.
