Megan Frances Martin

BA (Hons) Games Art and Design

BA Games art & Design work by Megan Martin showing a 3D rendered model with paper like textures
Award Winner

I’m Megan, a 22-year-old artist from Norfolk. I’ve always had a passion for expressing myself creatively through traditional media but I’ve wanted to take it further and create a career out of it. I strive on facing challenges and trying new techniques. I am very much a problem solver, and finding new ways to create concepts keeps me on my toes as well as thinking creatively.

I tend to experiment a lot with 3D programs such as Blender and use it a lot in my work. I paint in a very cute stylised way sometimes but also like to experiment is a more realistic style when creating fantasy-like pieces. I’m really inspired by high fantasy things like elves or aliens. I find the thought of creating things that don’t normally exist in everyday life really exciting as I have a very active imagination so I use that to my advantage.
