Megan Maskell

BA (Hons) Graphic Communication

BA Graphic Communication work by Megan Maskell, showing an eccentric, three tiered green menu design which is placed on top of a plate surrounded by a pale green table cloth.

I am a multidisciplinary graphic designer striving to create bold, innovative designs for good. My personal and degree work spans a broad range of specialisms, from branding to campaigns, focusing on exploring hard-hitting and important work subjects throughout.

One particular area of interest that has underscored my projects is the intersection of graphic design and the film industry. In my research report, I examined how typography is used by women filmmakers to bolster the non-conformity of their work, whether that be through narrative or genre.

I am an enthusiastic, reliable and hard-working individual, who has only grown in confidence through studying graphic design for three years. I am proficient — both individually and in a team environment — and am always keen to learn new ideas and develop my skills with a resilience that has led me to respond efficiently to feedback.
