BA (Hons) Film and Moving Image Production
Throughout my degree at NUA I have used my time to create and develop stories that interest me. This opportunity for creative discovery, thinking about what stories I want to tell in the future has all led to my graduate film. Given one of the themes in my documentary is religion, this encapsulates thousands of years of history, so having to condense this story into eight minutes was a huge undertaking. This helped me develop my skills in researching, multitasking and organisation, which was key in my progress towards a concise depiction of this large-scale debate.
However what I am most proud of regarding my film is its originality and audaciousness, clearly showcasing my drive to find unfamiliar stories within known and preexisting parts of life, as the world in which the film surrounds was largely unfamiliar to me coming from a Jewish household.
I am now looking to expand into fiction work specifically in writing and script development for the film and TV industry.
