Mollie Green

BA (Hons) Fashion

BA Fashion Design work by Mollie Green showing a young woman getting her faced pushed into a cake at a messy picnic scene

I am an innovative biomaterial designer with a strong interest in sustainability and health. My passion lies in exploring new perspectives within biomaterial design and leveraging the power of microbiome relationships.

Through my collection, Biome, I have reimagined the potential of biomaterials, particularly in the fashion industry. My journey in biomaterials has opened my eyes to the vast potential for creating a sustainable future and revolutionising fashion systems.

I’ve made biofabricated garments using algae as the base, creating a versatile sheet capable of being recycled, eaten, with the potential of being sewn.

By integrating biomaterials into the industry, I believe I can pave the way for a more environmentally friendly and socially responsible approach to fashion. I believe that I can also bring something unique to any position as I strive to develop as a material innovator and designer.
