Over the years technology has taken over our day to day lives, which can sometimes be negative, this has contributed to a loss of community. My degree at NUA has not only taught me the importance of communication and professionalism but also given me the opportunity to expand my interest in contemporary architecture and use this as a tool in designing spaces that bring the users together. Through collaboration and individual development, I have learnt how important it is to have the users needs and values at the forefront of every design, because I believe architecture can have the ability to control the way we feel and think. My degree has equipped me with strong organisational skills, self-discipline, and a proactive attitude. Having now finished university I intend to transfer these skills and continue my development within the construction industry.
