Rachel Cottrell

BA (Hons) Graphic Communication

BA Graphic Communication Visual Identity By Rachel Cottrell showing restaurant branding for Souter Lighthouse that serves to raise money to protect UK coastlines against erosion.

I’m a multidisciplinary designer with 8 months of industry experience. I have a love for branding and campaign work which explores the interconnection of typography with imagery, often brought to life with animation which can build a clear yet imaginative narrative. I have been described as a resilient, conceptual designer that welcomes any challenge.

I endeavour to communicate striking ideas that motivate change and celebrate the unexpected. In my third year, I have developed a determined enterprising spirit that prioritises finding out what the heart of the issue is. I love to see how great strategy, aligned with distinctive design and originating from true insight, can elevate a project’s impact.
