Rachel Patsy-ann Bliss
BA (Hons) Animation
I’m Rachel Patsy-ann Bliss, I study stop motion animation. My work could be described as well detailed, elegant and bold with a twist of darkness and glamour. My strategic style is to supplement the best out of a good story across the setting of time and place, the character’s actions aims and influences.
I achieved new strategies in armature and model making construction. Costume making, including needle felting and sewing patterns. I enjoy the process of experimenting and extracting outstanding shapes and depth of textures and colours within the fabrics, to extract the narrative to a greater extent through the possibilities of mise en scene.
Further stop motion fabrication materials I have started to take in, silicone casting and mould making have changed my direction of moving forward in the technical advances of stop motion fabrication.
