BA (Hons) Fashion
I am a womenswear designer with a love for storytelling and colour. I hope to tell stories with my clothing to help people form connection as I believe it is important for sustainability that our clothing holds sentimental value. My final year collection has been one that taught me resilience and adaptability, through the process of natural dyeing my materials and creating structural pieces such as the tent dress.
My work often starts with a story, or captures a moment such as drinking tea in the morning for my yoga mat design and then develops into wearable art. I enjoy collaborating with other artists and learning new ways to make art and fashion sustainable. I believe the key to sustainability is forming connections, with people, the world around us, and our clothing.
