Riki Buckles-Ramgarhia

BA (Hons) Film and Moving Image Production

BA Film and Moving Image Production work by Riki Buckles-Ramgarhia. A man with a bag over his head looks over to a poster that reads "The Greyless Man".

Hello, I’m Riki – I enjoy production design, writing and illustration and am keen to try any opportunity that comes to me! I strive to make a life where I can be artistic and creative every day. Studying Film and Moving Image Production has allowed me to experience every department of film and develop an extensive variety of skills which can assist me in many different industries. I am particularly interested in art and stories focusing on identity and fighting oppression.

‘The One Percent’, directed and written by me, is a graduate film that comments on the unethical nature of wealth hoarding and billionaires. ‘Colourblind’ is a Year 2 film that I wrote and production designed that follows the only person in a black-and-white world who is in colour, showing them learning to love their individuality. Additionally to these, throughout my time at NUA I have worked on an array of films of different genres and forms.

BA Film and Moving Image Production work by Riki Buckles-Ramgarhia. A short film portraying three billionaires surviving an apocalypse, faced with the decision of whether to let a survivor inside.
